In today's drawing class, we did a clothed medel, Old Cowboy Ray. We were told to look and think about the model before we started. When we drew, we should try to express how we felt about him or thought of him. Ray was pretty tall. However, he seemed to have trouble straightening his back. his bushy eyebrow, ponytail, unkempt beard, his Indian walking stick, and the way he held the cigar in the mouth, all reminded me of Dirty Henry, even Captain Hook or Popeye. Then, he must be a sailor on horseback. Anyway, that was what I was thinking of him when I was drawing him. Hope you like it.
