En Plein Air: Houses on the Hill Top (Oil, 12 x 9)

It was early morning and I walked along Grenfell St. Greenfell was a very hilly street. After the dip at the intersection of 82nd Ave., the street went up so steep that I felt my kit got heavier to pull along. I turned left into Audley St. which hit the Long Island Railroad and ended abruptly. I set up with my back to the railroad. The houses on the hill top were just caught in the morning sun. Since those houses was my focus, I deliberately blurred the cars in foreground with fan brush.
