Flower Pot: Greek Vase

Finally I put together this afternoon the centerpiece for April 9, 2016 dinner. I was one of the artists who are involved in VAC's Palette to Palate Show. As required, each artist has to make a dinner table centerpiece for auction. This is what I have designed. Actually the process is very simple. It is made of an earthen flower pot and its saucer. I flipped over the saucer and used Loctite Power grab glue to glue them together. This way they looked like one piece. Then I selected Greek vase images from the internet and used acrylic black to paint them on the side of the pot. In addition, I imitated Greek traditional decoration. Then I chose desert plants of different kinds to plant together in pot. That's it!
