Shadows of September Morning

It was Saturday, Labor Day Weekend. I drove to Centennial Park, downtown Ft. Myers. There were not many people around. Suddenly I realized that the park had quite a few views which had their paintable qualities. I told myself that I should have come earlier to explore its beauty. Maybe because I was discouraged by my last experiencee when I came to paint the downtown area and got a parking ticket. Now it was Weekend, I didn't even have to worry about the parking. I selected the spot under the US 41 overhead. Everything seemed to shimmer in the August morning sun and, at the same time, cast shadows over each other. I made the following oil painting on 12 x 16 canvased panel. Hope you like it.
