Alla Prima Portrait: John (Oil, 20 x 16)

It was VAC's Portrait Studio Day. In this season we usually had two models. When I got there, there was already a female model named Marcy there. And quite a few of my fellow artists had already set up around her chair. The other model had not shown up yet. Only Sumi and Trudy had set up around the empty chair. Shortly after, John came. He was new to VAC. According to what he told me, John was a retired salesperson. I believe my portrait did him justice in terms of likeness.
